Swenja is a leading international expert on climate change and risk finance and is working across sectors and industries in her role as Managing Director Climate and Sustainability at Marsh McLennan (MMC), the world’s leading professional services firm in the area of risk, people and strategy. Robert Muir Wood is the chief research officer of Risk Management Solutions, now part of Moody’s, and a visiting professor at University College London’s Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction. He has been a Lead Author on the IPCC 4^th Assessment Report and on the IPCC Special Report on Extremes and has published many scientific papers and blogs on catastrophe losses and how these risks can be measured. He was the founding editor of the journal/magazine Terra Nova and has published eight books. His latest book published in 2024 is ‘This Volcanic Isle, the violent processes that forged the British Landscape’, published by OUP, which was recently listed by the  Daily Telegraph as one of the six best science books of the year. His ’The Cure for Catastrophe, how we can stop manufacturing natural disasters’ was published in the US and UK in September 2016 and positively reviewed in Nature, Science and the New York Times.

Angela Terry MSc MEI is the founder of One Home: Climate Solutions, the UK’s first one-stop shop for citizens seeking practical advice on tackling climate change. An environmental scientist with over 30 years of experience, Angela has worked across renewable energy, forestry, and water quality, and was recognized as Net Zero Energy Pioneer at the 2024 Green Energy Awards.

Angela is a passionate advocate for clean technology, regularly appearing in the media to provide accessible advice on cutting carbon footprints, staying safe during extreme weather, and saving money in the process. As a mum and consumer, she simplifies complex climate solutions for everyday people.

A pioneer of community renewables, Angela developed Westmill Wind Farm Co-op, the first community-owned wind farm in the South East. She co-founded Count Us In with TED Talks, mobilizing global action to reduce carbon pollution, and contributed to the UK Renewable Energy Strategy.
