The Journey to Nature Positive

October 1, 6:15 pm

An evening of film and conversation exploring how businesses are engaging strategies for nature, driving real value for people and planet in the process.

The UK National Security Assessment highlights the threats to our resilience, security and prosperity posed by global biodiversity loss and ecosystem collapse. According to the World Economic Forum, environmental risks are now the most significant risks concerning global executives for the next decade. They are also the risks for which businesses are least prepared.

Nature is no longer a corporate social responsibility issue, but a core strategic risk management issue. It is key for building resilience and futureproofing our communities and economy. While businesses are increasingly understanding that nature matters, many still struggle to translate it into a case that resonates with boards and leadership teams.

Join us for a screening of Becoming Nature Positive, the new film from the Nature Positive Initiative and Open Planet Studios, featuring top voices from across the global sustainability community.

The screening will be followed by an expert panel discussion, exploring how business leaders can get their teams and boards engaged on nature strategy. We’ll hear insights on the 30by30 campaign, and how brand commitments are shifting team culture and strategic focus. We’ll hear how nature connection and living systems leadership experiences can help shift mindsets. We’ll hear success stories from those building the business case for nature strategy, and we’ll explore the different pathways pioneering companies are taking to drive action.
