Programme Team2026-03-12 13:23:252026-03-12 13:28:23Maintaining Climate Progress in a Changing Political Order‘Sea, Land & City’: Film Screening and Panel Discussion
A dynamic session exploring how we can work together to scale nature restoration across sea, land and city in the UK.

The UK is one of the most nature depleted and nature disconnected countries in the world. Yet nature holds remarkable potential to address some of our most pressing environmental and societal challenges. But how do we harness that power together?
In partnership with Wonderoom, The Conduit presents ‘Sea, Land & City’ – an award-winning short film and initiative — to connect people and business to nature positive solutions and stories. Join founder and filmmaker Mairead Cahill as she journey’s across South West England to explore pioneering nature-based solutions in action. From the reintroduction of beavers to the restoration of our rainforests and coastlines, to ‘living pontoons’ to clean our cities waterways, we get up close to see the solutions and people involved. The film explores how these types of solutions support our mental health and wellbeing and the health of our economy and climate.
After the screening, a panel of experts will discuss the opportunity to take a connected approach to scaling nature based solutions in the UK and how leaders, businesses and communities can all get involved. Taking place right after London Climate Action Week and looking ahead to COP30, this session will provide key insights on how we can better work with nature and each other to support our collective health and resilience.
