Most leadership models still run on control, hierarchy and fear. They borrow their logic from machines, not living systems. In this thought-provoking session, Thom Dennis, Conduit member since 2018 and author of Rewilding the Corporate Mind, draws on ecological restoration as a working model for organisations facing constant disruption.
Degraded land recovers when you stop trying to force outcomes and instead restore the conditions for life. Thom and Nick will use studies from Patagonia to the Knepp Estate to open up what this means in practice for leaders under pressure right now.

Thom Dennis is the CEO of Serenity in Leadership, the culture remodelling, change and leadership specialists.With over 30 years’ experience as an Executive Coach, Facilitator, Change Maker and Leadership Developer, and having served 17 years as an officer in the Royal Marines, Thom has led companies dedicated to bringing out the best in people through coaching and training and increasing self-awareness, defining strategy, working through M&As and improving communication.
Dr Nick Earley is a clinical psychologist, cognitive behavioural therapist and executive coach. He has extensive experience helping leaders in finance, law & business perform under sustained pressure. He is also an Associate Lecturer in the School of Psychological Sciences at Birkbeck University.
