Are you engaged in work that straddles a paradigm shift? Do you know what it feels like to craft a project that creates value in a current horizon, and options for what’s next? Come and join the inaugural cohort of the LIS MBA for an evening of ‘crits’: short presentations of work-in-progress with facilitated discussions. The cohort will be sharing work and providing feedback to the community, drawing on their insights from complexity science and systems thinking, artificial and collective intelligence, the energy transition and the future of work.
This evening will involve work in small groups. During each crit round, a presenter provides an initial stimulus of up 10 minutes. Presenters are encouraged to a) explain their work and its value very clearly, and b) introduce the group to a challenge they are grappling with.
Each member of the group then ask 2 questions of the presenter. Questions are collected in the round, all at once. The presenter uses the remaining time to hold a discussion based on the questions, giving opportunity to make connections and reach new insights.
Conduit members are welcome to join as guests or as presenters. If you would like to present, please contact amelia.peterson@lis.ac.uk by 4th September 2026.
