A journey to discover the secrets behind some of the world’s most iconic classic cocktails – and all from the comfort of your home! On this cocktail adventure, we will learn about the most popular cocktail families, their distinctive and delicious traits, and the history behind some of your favourite drinks. With The Conduit’s own cocktail connoisseur, Walter Pintus, you’ll also master – through making and tasting – the versatile nature and use of categories like Sours and Daisies. Cheers!
Ingredients: A white spirit of your choice (Gin, Vodka, Rum or Tequila) – The juice of 2 Lemons and 2 Limes – 1 Egg white – 1 Orange – Optional: Any berry (blackberries, raspberries, strawberries) – Orange Liquor (Cointreau or Triple sec) – Sugar syrup (dissolve 1 part of caster sugar in 1 part of water) – Good amount of Ice cubes.
Equipment:
Cocktail Shaker or clip top jar (or any jar a with sealed top) – Cocktail measure/jigger (if you don’t have one – don’t panic, a small espresso cup will do) – Bar spoon or Tablespoon – Potato peeler or small Kitchen knife – Cocktail Glass (or a small wine glass) – Highball glass (or any large water glass you have at home).
