Willow Defebaugh is the editor-in-chief of Atmos, which she co- founded with Jake Sargent in 2018. She began writing The Overview as a deep ecology newsletter, long before she ever knew that it would one day be a book. She is a lifelong student of nature and graduated with a degree in creative writing from the University of Michigan. As a trans woman, she is passionate about our capacity for transformation. Her work has been featured in Vogue, V Magazine, i-D, BBC, The Guardian, them, New York Magazine, and more. She lives in Brooklyn on unceded Lenape territory.
Alice Aedy is the Co-Founder and CEO of Earthrise, an impact-driven media company for climate. An award-winning Documentary Photographer, Director/Producer and Campaigner, Alice is passionate about communicating human stories around climate and social justice.
Jocelyn Longdon is the founder of ClimateInColour, an online education platform and community for the climate curious. Through ClimateInColour, Jocelyn has established a powerful launchpad for critical conversations about climate change. Jocelyn is an accomplished environmental justice activist and academic, with a focus on designing justice-led conservation technologies for monitoring biodiversity with local forest communities in Ghana.
Tori Tsui is a Bristol-based climate activist, speaker and consultant from Hong Kong. She is the co-founder of the space Bad Activist Collective and a member of the climate coalition Unite For Climate Action. Prior to this she sailed across the Atlantic with the think tank Sail to the COP, she was sponsored by Stella McCartney after being named an agent of change. Her work centres around climate justice, making sure that climate policy, action and organising is intersectional, inclusive and transformative. Alongside organising, she is an advisory board member of the Earth Percent group , Climate Resilience Project and a strategist with Hero Circle.
Aurora Solá is a writer and filmmaker interested in how people make landscapes and landscapes make people. Her nonfiction work focuses on the history of food and how the practice of agriculture has shaped material and social realities. In 2023 she authored Manifesto on the Future of Food, published by Farmacy. Her film Mountains That Weep is a psychogeographical meditation on wild places in the Amazon, set for release this year.
