How Not to Die (Too Soon): A Conversation with Devi Sridhar
Thurs 12 Jun, 6pm – 7:30pm
Thurs 12 Jun, 6pm – 7:30pm
We’re constantly told that living longer is all about personal choices: eat better, exercise more, stress less. But what if we’ve been focusing on the wrong things? Why are people in both wealthy and poor countries dying too soon—not because they aren’t trying hard enough, but because of the systems stacked against them?
Devi Sridhar, Professor of Global Public Health at the University of Edinburgh, is here to flip the script on what really determines how long we live. It’s not about biohacking or wellness fads—it’s about policies, food systems, healthcare access, and the choices governments make every day that impact our lives.
Join us at The Conduit for a lively and eye-opening conversation that will challenge everything you thought you knew about health, longevity, and who’s really responsible for keeping us alive.
