Asma Khan is an award-winning restaurateur, best-selling cookbook author, and the founder of London’s famed Darjeeling Express restaurant. She is the UN World Food Programme’s Chef Advocate, a distinguished presence on the Mayor of London’s Business Advisory Board and an Honorary Fellow at Oxford University. She holds a PhD in British Constitutional Law from King’s College London where she is also a Fellow and an Honorary Doctorate from SOAS University. Asma is the first British chef to be profiled on Netflix’s Emmy-nominated Chef’s Table and the first chef to be featured on Vogue’s list of 25 most influential women. Her presence has left an indelible mark on television series like Celebrity MasterChef and the Emmy-winning Top Chef in America. Darjeeling Express has become a favourite amongst Hollywood’s A-list entertainers and her latest cookbook Ammu was named ‘Times’ Book of the Year in 2022.
Catia Dal Poz is the Founder of One Million Voices, a purpose-driven multimedia platform that champions individuals and organisations who are making a difference in the world. She has served in multiple leadership positions in various women’s organisations in the UK and has extensive experience in hosting flagship events with high profile speakers in institutions like BAFTA, the Royal Geographical Society, and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Catia holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and has previously worked as a producer of special news segments and programmes for some of the world’s major broadcasters (NBC, CBS, CNN, TV Globo).
