Soil Carbon: Unlocking Scale & Value in Carbon Markets
The Conduit and Agreena explore how we can make soil a strategic asset for climate and resilience.
Join us for a breakfast panel on one of the most immediate and overlooked climate solutions: soil. In partnership with Agreena, we will explore how soil carbon can deliver measurable, cost-effective emissions reductions and removals, while supporting farmers, nature and society at large.
Our experts will unpack the science of soil carbon, reveal how AI-powered dMRV is revolutionising measurement accuracy at scale while reducing costs, and explain how robust standards are building market credibility. From the field to the boardroom, we’ll discuss what’s driving real investment in soil, the vital role of farmers, and why the benefits go far beyond carbon alone.
This event is delivered in partnership with Agreena.
Event Schedule:
8:30am: Join us for tea, coffee and breakfast
9:00am: Panel discussion begins
10:30am: Panel discussion ends, stay for breakfast and networking
12:00pm: Event ends
Speakers:
Kanika Chandaria is Head of Global Marketing & Communications at Agreena, where she leads brand, thought leadership, and stakeholder engagement to scale regenerative agriculture and nature-based climate solutions. She previously co-founded BCG Green Ventures, working with startups, corporates, and investors to accelerate climate solutions across carbon markets, energy storage, circular fashion, and sustainable food systems. Kanika is passionate about scaling solutions that deliver co-benefits and address the interconnected climate and nature crises, and regularly speaks on regenerative agriculture, natural capital, and the power of cross-sector collaboration to drive change.
Marcus-Alexander Neil is the Global Senior Carbon Commercial Lead at Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC). He helps organisations from all sectors meet their decarbonisation, net-zero and ESG targets through engagement with the voluntary carbon market, ultimately delivering outstanding benefits for climate, nature and people. Given LDC’s global soft commodities footprint (including but not limited to coffee, cotton, rice, juices, and grains), regenerative agriculture and other nature-based removals projects within or tangential to these supply chains are a specific area of focus, and provide opportunities for value chain emissions reductions for LDC’s textiles, food and beverage customers.

Thomas founded the award-winning Gentle Farming brand to share their journey and promote regenerative practices. He collaborates with farmers, corporates, and partners to scale regenerative agriculture and champion farmers’ role in environmental solutions. Thomas also participates in Agreena’s soil carbon programme, providing real-world insight into carbon farming.
