Operation Smile explores how artificial intelligence is being used to transform care for children born with cleft conditions.

Around the world, five billion people lack access to safe, affordable surgical care. In response to this global challenge, Innovating for Impact brings together healthcare leaders and tech pioneers who are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in global health.
Hosted by Operation Smile in collaboration with The Conduit, this event will feature a screening of Beyond the Code, a powerful new BBC StoryWorks documentary highlighting how Operation Smile is harnessing AI to streamline surgical evaluations and expand access to cleft care.
Following the screening, join a thought-provoking live panel and Q&A session with global experts who are leading innovation in healthcare. From developing diagnostic algorithms to building sustainable health systems, these changemakers will share how technology, compassion, and collaboration can deliver meaningful impact.
