Programme The Coduit2026-10-12 13:11:202026-10-12 13:12:31The Rise (and Rise) of YouTubeAfter COP30: What are the Levers for Climate Action?
What has COP30 and the latest round of Nationally Determined Contributions achieved? What are the levers we should be reaching for in response?
As the world digests the outcomes of COP30 in Belém and a new generation of national climate commitments, The Conduit joins forces with the Climate Crisis Advisory Group to bring you this conversation, taking stock of where global climate action stands and what progress has really been made.
With a panel featuring Lorraine Whitmarsh, Wolfgang Blau, Joice Mendez, Nicholas Stern and Graihagh Jackson, the discussion will explore what this latest round of NDCs tells us about political will, market readiness, and public engagement, and identify the most effective tools now available to accelerate action.
Join us for an event connecting the science, policy, and communication dimensions of climate leadership, as we ask what it will take to turn pledges into tangible progress.
