Survival Mode: The Silent Killer of Connection, Confidence, and Leadership
May 6, 6:30 pm
May 6, 6:30 pm
Unni Turrettini is a leadership strategist and human connection expert who works at the intersection of survival mode, resilience, and the future of leadership in the age of AI. She helps leaders and teams navigate distraction, political turbulence, and constant uncertainty by doing something most people never learn: regulating their own nervous system and reconnecting to themselves.
Unni’s core message is simple and confronting: AI won’t replace humans. But it will replace humans who are disconnected from themselves.
Her new book on human connection and AI explores how we can stay clear, grounded, and deeply human in a world of information overload, hybrid threats, and shrinking psychological safety.
For this practical and interactive event, Unni will share how high achievers can deactivate survival mode, build true resilience, and lead with presence—even when the world around them doesn’t feel safe.
The event will also be a celebration of the insights and expertise of our members. Unni, who is a member at Oslo’s House21, will be in conversation with Conduit member Steph French, a facilitator working to surface blindspots and blockers in the changemaking space through reconnection with our intuitive knowledge. Steph co-leads The Conduit’s Psychology for Change community group.
Copies of Unni’s new book, Soulware: The High Achiever’s Guide to Divine Connection in the Age of AI, will be available at the event.

Unni Turrettini is a bestselling author and leadership strategist. A former New York attorney with a decade in law and finance, she blends neuroscience, emotional mastery, and energetic intelligence to show leaders how to regulate their nervous systems, stay clear under pressure, and lead with courage when the environment is anything but stable. After Norway’s 2011 lone-wolf massacre, Unni devoted years to studying the roots of isolation, extremism, and disconnection. That work shaped two critically acclaimed books and her upcoming book on human connection in the age of AI, making her a sought-after voice on leadership, belonging, and resilience in turbulent times. She lives in Oslo, and when she’s not traveling, she can be found walking her spoiled Boston Terrier or taking an icy plunge in the Oslo fjord.
Steph French is a systemic coach with a background in Philosophy and Psychology from Oxford and an MSc in Human Nutrition. Her multidisciplinary career spans retail, consumer goods, food, farming, and the service sector. She has worked with global organisations including PepsiCo, Mars, Tesco, The Body Shop, and the World Bank. After decades of informally coaching friends and colleagues, she committed to professional practice. Her work is shaped by her own journey of trauma healing, breaking intergenerational cycles, and challenging inherited patterns and societal expectations. Drawn to systemic thinking through lived experience, she trained extensively in systemic family constellations with first-generation teachers including Gaye Donaldson, Edward Rowland, and Stephan Hausner. She works at the intersection of body, system, and story to support clients to find clarity, coherence, and alignment.
