The Conduit at COP26
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at The Conduit and is an issue that resonates across our membership. We will be present at COP26 in Glasgow at a crucial time for the future of our planet. Our plans include broadcasting live from the New York Times Climate Hub, our base from which we will share key learnings and solutions from respected voices widely to ensure that the moment accelerates the movement towards net zero.

As world leaders gather in Glasgow for consequential climate change negotiations, The New York Times Climate Hub will seek to uncover answers to one of the most urgent questions of our time: How do we adapt and thrive on a changing planet?
The Conduit will broadcast live from its very own studio in The New York Times Climate Hub during COP26, to inform and inspire audiences across the globe on climate action and share key updates from the conference. Through a combination of live streams, podcasts, and other digital content, The Conduit will share the most insightful thought leadership on sustainability and climate action, whilst keeping you informed of how negotiations are going.
The Conduit Studio – cutting through the noise
COP26 presents a crucial opportunity to both articulate and enact commitments towards responsible and sustainable business ethics and practices. The Conduit Studio will cut through the noise to analyse global progress to date, predict the unforeseen challenges of tomorrow, and spotlight the innovations and solutions that will lead to meaningful change.
The Conduit Studio will act as a powerful megaphone during COP for the voices of changemakers and partners within The Conduit’s community who are driving positive social, environmental, and economic change. High-level speakers and experts will explore pertinent themes and commitments emerging from the ongoing negotiations and they will share broader insights around the paths that can be taken to trigger dramatic positive effects in the fight for our planet’s future.
The Conduit Studio is being delivered in association with Julius Baer, and alongside content partners, SYSTEMIQ and DLA Piper, to bring you cutting edge content, insights and expertise throughout the conference.
The Conduit will explore thought leadership with Julius Baer on how we can transition towards a sustainable economy. Podcasts will focus on the blue economy, financing the blue future, and preparing investors for the journey to net zero.
A mini-series with SYSTEMIQ, Ahead of The Curve, will focus on advancing the conversation around positive climate tipping points and explore the innovations that are driving exponential climate action. As part of Ahead of The Curve, we will also be bringing unique behind-the-scenes insights from the Blue Zone on how the negotiations are unfolding.
The Conduit and DLA Piper will also produce a mini-series, Fast & Fair: The Climate Transition Podcast, to explore climate and the law, providing a briefing on how legal frameworks are being shaped globally, and sharing insights on supporting and protecting people who have been displaced due to the effects of climate change. DLA Piper is the only law firm representing a country at COP26; supporting Georgia’s participation with advocacy, legal advice and research, and negotiations assistance.
The Conduit Studio supports The Conduit’s mission to accelerate cross-sectoral collaboration and generate and scale solutions to the world’s greatest challenges through its community and strategic partnerships. Julius Baer, SYSTEMIQ and DLA Piper are Impact Partners of The Conduit.
The Conduit Bookshop – curating leading thinkers
The Conduit Bookshop is a unique repository of global thought leadership, carefully curated by Conduit members and staff. For the duration of COP26, we’re bringing The Conduit Bookshop from Langley Street to Glasgow as a pop-up bookshop in the heart of the New York Times Climate Hub. The shelves will be filled with a selection of 1oo titles related to climate change and sustainability, including books from authors such as George Monbiot, David Attenborough, Mary Robinson, Wangari Maathai, Greta Thunberg, and The Dalai Lama.
