Sara Stefanini is EMEA Climate Policy Editor based in London. She has 15 years’ experience in journalism, mostly covering energy, climate change, and environmental news. Prior to joining Carbon Pulse, she worked for four years as a strategic communications advisor for climate action and clean air campaigns, writing and advising on narratives, writing speeches, and op-eds, also working with media.

Director, Sustainability, Deloitte
Greg is a Director in Deloitte’s UK Sustainability practice, and leads the firm’s sustainability work with insurance clients across the value chain. He brings over 15 years of sustainability experience in insurance and financial services, with a particular focus on strategy, innovation, risk, regulation, and reporting. Greg was Managing Committee chair of ClimateWise and on the Board of the UN Principles for Sustainable Insurance. Prior to joining Deloitte in January 2021, he was Global Head of Resilience and Sustainability at Aon, having started his career in investment banking. Greg holds an MSc from the London School of Economics.

THOMAS MERRIMAN
Co-Founder, Kita
Tom Merriman is the Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Kita, the carbon insurance specialist. Kita’s purpose is accelerating investment in high quality carbon sequestration projects through the provision of insurance that reduces transaction risk and safeguards the performance of carbon credit investments. Prior to founding Kita, Tom spent 15 years in capital markets working for the financial technology companies Bloomberg and Nasdaq. During this time, Tom also completed three master’s degrees: Finance (Cranfield), Information Systems (LSE), and Climate Change (Birkbeck).
